IPPUDO AT MOHAMED SULTAN AND SHAW CENTRE

Thank you Ippudo for sponsoring the review and our friends at ThirstyFridays for contributing this article. It's no secret that we're big fans of Japanese cuisine and drinks. We've already posted about Japanese craft beers and sake in the past, but true to the Singaporean in each of us, we're even bigger fans of a good deal. So ...Related Post ...

MANEKINEKO – MARINA SQUARE

The local karaoke (KTV) scene has been quite competitive in the past two decades. At one time, there were outlets almost everywhere. Then a major shakeout in the early 2000s, which left only that few prominent brands around: K Box is one of those strong survivals. Through the years, K Box pride itself for setting the ...Related Post ...

When it comes to curry puff, there is probably no other brand capable of surpassing the taste of Old Chang Kee. With 60 years of history and over 70 outlets/kiosk islandwide, there are sure many fans out there who would agree with us that this is the King of Curry Puff!  It was amazing to ...Related Post KFC – FREE COFFEE...

YU KEE DUCK RICE

A good plate of braised duck rice is hard to find even though this has been one of the popular dish locally. We are talking about the Teochew version with the debone duck, which most stalls either failed to soften the meat and/or make the rice more fragrant. Yu Kee could be the only duck rice ...Related Post PERI PLATTER...

MCCAFE

We have a pleasant surprise at McCafe during our morning coffee today. Their Caramel Macchiato and Mochaccino were absolutely great! THE OUTLET IN CENTURY SQUARE, WHICH THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON, IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED When someone mentioned Ipoh, the famous "Sar Hor Fun", "Nga Choi Kai", and white coffee will come to mind. FIKA SWEDISH CAFE & BISTRO

We are always on the hunt for a plate of good carbonara. For those unaware, it is an Italian pasta dish based on eggs, cheese, bacon, and black pepper. Spaghetti, fettuccine, rigatoni, linguine or bucatini are usually used as the pasta. Many restaurants would offer the popular Spaghetti bolognese but exclude carbonara from the menu. ...Related Post ...

CHOO CHOO TOA PAYOH

The Korean Fried Chicken (fondly called KFC in short) is catching on in Singapore like the Kpop and Kdrama. Although not growing at the lightning speed of the bubble tea or kopi-roti era - they were mostly gone just as fast - it is undeniable that the KFC is as sustainable as the Korean influence ...Related Post MENU OF THE...
